Find an insurance broker in France

Would you rather have a professional compare policies and handle the paperwork? Describe your need: your request is passed to at most three partner brokers or insurers registered with ORIAS, the French register of insurance intermediaries, who may contact you.

How the introduction works

  1. You state the type of insurance, when your current policy renews, your postcode and your contact details.
  2. If you tick the consent box (never pre-ticked), your request is passed to at most three partner professionals: brokers and insurers registered with ORIAS.
  3. They may contact you by phone or email about your request. You compare and sign only if a quote suits you.

Claude Assur is not a broker, an insurer or a registered intermediary: it gives no personal advice and no policy can be taken out on this site.

Broker, tied agent, insurer

  • A broker (courtier) works for you and approaches several insurers.
  • A tied agent (agent général) represents one insurer, sometimes two or three.
  • A direct insurer (company, mutual, bank) sells its own policies.

Before you sign, any distributor must record your requirements and needs and offer a policy consistent with them (French insurance code, article L521-4).

Check who you are dealing with

  • Ask for the ORIAS number and check it on the public register at orias.fr.
  • For an insurer, check that it is authorised in France and not on the warning lists of the ACPR, the French insurance supervisor.
  • Never pay before receiving a written quote and the policy documents.

Your data

Your request is only passed on with your explicit consent, to at most three professionals, for this request only. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing admin@tech-bharat.com. See the privacy policy (in French, with an English summary).
